Overseas User Identity Verification (해외 사용자 본인인증 안내)
Hello, this is the Meloming Team.
To prevent account misuse and keep the service safe, Meloming runs an identity verification process.
How can overseas users verify?
If you are located outside Korea (or cannot complete Korean mobile phone verification), you can verify your identity using an overseas-friendly verification method instead of Korean mobile verification.
This process is handled through a third-party identity verification service (Didit).
How it works
- Request by email
Please email our support team with the subject: “Overseas Identity Verification Request.” - We send you a link
The Meloming Team will email you a secure verification link. - Complete within the deadline
Using the link, please complete the steps below:
- Upload/scan your ID (e.g., passport)
- Face check (using your device camera)
- Verification is applied to your account
Once we confirm completion, we will mark your Meloming account as Verified.
Important: What data is stored
- Meloming does not store original materials such as ID images or face photos/videos in our service or database.
- We only record whether verification is completed on your Meloming account.
- The materials submitted during verification (ID and face check) may be retained by Didit for up to 6 months and then deleted. (Retention period may vary depending on Didit’s policy/settings.)

해외 사용자 본인 확인(해외 인증) 안내
안녕하세요, 멜로밍 팀입니다.
멜로밍은 계정 도용을 예방하고 안전한 서비스 운영을 위해 본인 확인(인증) 절차를 운영하고 있어요.
해외 사용자는 어떻게 인증하나요?
해외에 계시거나 한국 휴대폰 인증이 어려운 경우, 한국 휴대폰 인증 대신 해외에서도 가능한 본인 확인 방식으로 인증을 진행할 수 있어요.
해당 인증은 외부 본인 확인 서비스인 Didit을 통해 진행됩니다.
진행 방법
- 이메일로 요청하기
고객센터로 아래 제목으로 이메일을 보내주세요.
- 메일 제목: 해외 본인 확인 요청
- 인증 링크 받기
멜로밍 팀이 확인 후, 본인 확인 링크를 이메일로 보내드립니다. - 기한 내 인증 완료하기
링크에서 아래 절차를 진행해 주세요.
- 신분증 촬영 (예: 여권)
- 얼굴 확인 (기기 카메라 사용)
- 계정에 인증 완료 적용
완료가 확인되면 멜로밍 팀이 해당 계정에 본인 확인 완료 표시를 적용합니다.
저장되는 정보 안내 (중요)
- 멜로밍은 신분증/얼굴 사진·영상 등 원본 자료를 멜로밍 서비스나 DB에 저장하지 않습니다.
- 대신, Didit에서 인증이 완료되었는지 “완료 여부”만 멜로밍 계정에 기록합니다.
- 인증 과정에서 제출한 자료(신분증/얼굴 확인)는 Didit 서비스에 최대 6개월 보관될 수 있으며, 이후 삭제됩니다.
(보관 기간은 Didit 정책/설정에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다.)
